Emotional Eating Support Group

Exercise is one element of health that is so very important for a myriad of reasons. How and what we eat is also a key element to good health. I know from personal experience that food can easily be used as a false antidote for boredom, a temporary fix of guilt shame, sadness and anger, and a momentary distraction from life’s challenges. Eating based on what would distract me from life and choosing to eat when I am not hungry, are ways that go against my truth. Diets don’t work. They cause us to not trust our own intuition and they backfire because we are listening to someone else’s rules and not to our bodies needs. Learning how to connect with hunger, explore what’s under our emotional eating, finding ways to soothe and care for ourselves that are healthy, instead of using food, and having a gentle and kind support system have been the antidote to my emotional eating. This is the work we explore together in our Mindful Eating, End Emotional Eating group. You don’t have to do this alone, you don’t have to beat yourself up emotionally for your food choices anymore, you can use your eating habits as tool to heal yourself and you can change the way you eat with support and ease. Share My Services

When you share my services you pay less and still get great attention and an awesome workout. Choosing to work with a friend, or two or three allows for accountability and guess what; the more people the less it cost each person. You also might want to add this to your once a week workout to fortify your week, making sure you get more than one workout a week under your belt.

Ask Me

If you decide to prepay for more than 10 consecutive weeks, or you pre-pay for more than one session per week for personal training for a set of weeks, we can negotiate the prices further.

Exercise policies and Best Ways To Utilize My Services

I am thrilled you have chosen Fit Spirit Personal Training to support you in your health and fitness goals. I am super excited to show up for you with my knowledge base, attention, experience, enthusiasm and support. Here are some things to know so you can be successful and get the most out of our time together. 

If you are working with me one time a week and you want to see change, you will need to do work on your own. Once a week will not be enough to give you the results you want. To make the changes to reach your goals you can either work with me more than once a week or I can create a fitness plan for your week and it is up to you to follow through. I slowly add workouts for you to do on your own, so you don’t have to worry about me giving you too much to start. If you follow through you will safely see the results you want and most likely more positive results than you ever even imagined. It can start with as little as 20 minutes on most days and then you are going to see the difference. Why pay this kind of money for something you are not energized to change? Right?

Accountability Support

You are welcome to text me as much as you would like to tell me you have followed through. I will write you back as soon as I can and will meet your success with celebration, praise and joy. If you need me to message you, we can pick a time once a week where I write to you to support you in following through with your fitness goals. 

Cancelations

Unless you are paying for one session at a time, you have committed to a package to 4 weeks or 10 weeks of training with me. If you need to cancel, I will do my best to find you another session that week, but if that is not possible, you will need to pay for the session time. I set that time aside for you and we both are making a commitment to that time. Whenever possible, please let me know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel. Besides it being a curtesy, I will more likely be able to find you another time. This policy will not only help me, but it keeps you committed to your time with me. If you have a planned vacation or something other commitment, please let me know ahead of time and we can extend your time.

You might be coming to me with injuries, limitations and imbalances. We will do our best to give you a safe workout that brings you to your fatigue. If you have been seeing a physical therapist for an injury, please share any exercises they have had you do, so I can further grasp what is going on for you. In order to keep you safe, it is paramount you let me know if anything feels funny, pulling, or hurts. We are a team. I have an expertise, but so do you. You know your body better than anyone, so please keep clear communication, so we can prevent injury and get you super strong and fit.
