Personal Training and Small Group Training Packages

First Things First
In order for me to know where your body is at, what you want and what you need, our first session will be between an hour and an hour and a half long and we will look at many aspects of your fitness. During this first session we do assessments that looks at your flexibility, strength, mobility, alignment, current limitations, history, and future goals. I have found that most of my clients learn a great deal about themselves from this session and often feel empowered. Additionally, during this first session we will create a fitness plan that will start you on the path to reaching your health and fitness goals. This initial session is $75 for approx. an hour and a half assessment.
Packages
I offer different packages. The more you commit to and prepay, the less each session costs. You can do one session at a time, or you can pre-pay for a 4 session package or an 10 session package.
Personal Training
This is one on one sessions where I give you a workout that is specifically for you. The workout is tailored to accommodate your physical needs, support you towards reaching your goals, in a way your brain and body like. Working with in your limitations, Fit Spirit will work you hard. While you will be challenged, which can feel hard, we will do our best to have fun while going for it. After it’s done you will be so happy you followed through and you will see yourself, change, get more fit, feel and be stronger. If you are seeing me one time a week, know you are going to have to have to workout on your own if you want to see big changes. If working out on your own doesn’t feel possible yet, I invite you either work one on one two times or more a week or take advantage of my group sessions, to create a well rounded workout.
Small Group Sessions
While as a personal trainer I mostly work with people one on one, I am also available for small group training, where I train you with one, two or three other individuals at the same time. In order do this, each client would need to meet me individually once for an initial assessment, so I can properly assess each person and their needs. I might need one or two sessions by yourself to really understand what your body needs. After this, we can meet in our small group. There are some benefits to working in small groups, that could be super helpful for my clients. You pay a much lower financial rate when you workout in a small group. Additionally, if you are working with me one on one and you are not able to get yourself to workout on your own and you need accountability, having times you are expected to show up is really helpful for many clients who want to reach their goals. Furthermore, when you work out with me, you know I will be checking your form, keeping track of your progress and upping the workout to match your fitness level as it improves. This means you know you are in for a good even if you are working with others and me. Lastly the joy of sharing fitness with new friends or friends you already have can make exercise more enjoyable. Small group is better when two or more people are in the same fitness range.
Smaller groups of two or three can be scheduled by all participating. Groups of 4 will be set times each week, unless you are the one picking out the group of 4 on your own, then that can be negotiated.
Scholarship
We offer scholarships for those who are very financially challenged. My hope is to make what I offer available to all who could benefit.
Where are the training sessions?
Great questions. We have several options. Sessions can happen either at my indoor gym, (complete with air purifier) or my outdoor gym, that happens under a 10×20 Carport. Sessions can also happen on Zoom or I can come to your home for an additional fee.

Conscious Eating Coach
Do you eat out of boredom or stress eat? Do you promise yourself you aren’t going to eat certain foods, or at certain times, or you will stop at a certain amount and keep breaking your promise to yourself? Do you judge your eating or body harshly and feel ashamed about your habits or how you look?
Welcome to the club! In a culture that is very look oriented and judgmental about size and shape, almost everyone, but particularly women, judge themselves for not matching up to this unobtainable expectation. This self judgement can cause shame and make us eat even more compulsively; and the negative cycle continues. Would you like to break the cycle?
I too suffered from a wicked bad eating disorder in my early 20s, and have since spent years in self discovery. This has been a challenging but amazing journey of growth for me. I have explored the underpinnings of my eating choices, learned what was underneath, and practiced and studied mindful eating. I also have learned to sit with sensation and not eat over it. I am not 100 % perfect with any of it, but I know what to do and I love myself matter what.
Do you want to learn to trust yourself, learn how to eat when you are hungry, eat foods that your body wants, and to not self-judge? I have successfully run groups that have helped other emotional eaters . In our groups the participants learned their personal triggers and patterns. They are given gentle guidelines, self awareness exercises and pattern breaking tools that changed their relationship with food for the better. We support each other in our process.
